Chocolate is the ultimate staple for Valentines Day. This heart shaped brownie is a delicious way to show your love and appreciation for your loved ones. Take any favorite brownie recipe of yours and bake it in a heart shaped pan rather than the average rectangle pan. To add an extra touch, dust powdered sugar over the top which would give it some shimmer. Keep in mind that this recipe can be tweaked for every holiday with different pans and flavor pairings. Happy Valentines Day Everyone!
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays of the year because its always a fun time dressing up, getting together with friends, and eating lots of sugar. For this year, I was inspired by the overall color scheme typically involving orange and black. These chocolate cupcakes are frosted with an orange buttercream and drizzled with chocolate sauce. Not only are these easy to make but are also very fitting for the holiday. Keep in mind that the frosting color can be changed to fit any holiday such as green for St. Patty’s Day and Red for Valentines Day. Happy Halloween! 🎃
Since its my parents 31st Anniversary, the least I could do for them is bake a special cake that incorporates fruits and light sweetness. They enjoyed a vanilla based cake with a lemon buttercream topped with shredded coconut and a slice of lemon. The cake used all natural garnishes which not only were edible but also gave it a classic touch. My parents had said that this was the best cake they have ever had and that is truly an accomplishment because they aren’t big fans of desserts. Enjoy!
